What if I have a problem with one of my cameras or other hardware? While we can perform most troubleshooting remotely, we utilize a national network of professional technicians to provide onsite support as necessary.
Who will handle the account administration for my staff and families? For example, who makes sure parents are authorized and that they can only view the rooms where their children are located? Who do they contact if they forget the login information, etc.? The goal of WatchMeGrow's customer service team is to take care of 100% of your viewing system needs so you can stay focused on running your business. We handle all parent questions, signups, room changes, cancellations, technical issues, etc. We verify each parent with the center director before activating a new user account. Online viewing parent administration is a full time endeavor - especially if you have a large center and during peak enrollment periods like "back to school". For example, WatchMeGrow regularly processes large room changes for 200+ students at a single center.
Does your company monitor my system as well as my internet connection? WatchMeGrow checks to make sure your system is functioning properly daily. If there is an issue with your Internet service, we will contact your ISP and work directly with them to resolve the issue.

How many parents can use the system at one time and do you provide individual login usernames and passwords for each user? WatchMeGrow's smallest customer has less than 30 users and our largest has over 400. Our software is specifically designed to allow multiple parents to simultaneously view multiple cameras all within a secure environment where each user has their own unique Login ID and password. WatchMeGrow's proprietary Bandwidth Balancing Technology™ (BBT) allows more families to login simultaneously while delivering a better viewing experience on a more affordable Internet connection.
Is your product easy to use? Will my families have to download any software in order to view video? There are absolutely NO software downloads or Active X plug-ins required - if you can access the Internet, you can use WatchMeGrow. This is a truly unique feature that only WatchMeGrow provides. Most competing products and/or DVR security systems require software that will be blocked by approximately 60% of corporate firewalls -if you can't download their software, you will not be able to view their video. Your families will not have this problem with WatchMeGrow.
What is the size of the streaming video image I will see? WatchMeGrow offers one of the largest streaming video images in the childcare viewing market. We offer a 640x480 pixel view that is roughly half the size of a standard PC monitor screen.
Can parents view recorded video if I want them too? Yes. We offer optional archived video so parents can go back and view video from the current day (operating hours only, optional).

Do I receive a website or can I link WatchMeGrow from my website? WatchMeGrow provides a website that you can customize and use to communicate with your parents (Post Schedule information, daily & weekly menus, messages to your parents, staff bios with photos and more on your WatchMeGrow provided website!) Or, if you prefer, WatchMeGrow will link your camera views directly from your website.
Can I see who is using the viewing system? We include reporting and data sorting tools that provide a variety of information on your users going back approximately 6 months.
Is it possible to add additional cameras? Yes. WatchMeGrow can support up to 32 cameras on a single video server.
Can you provide internal monitoring that will allow me to view the cameras while I am at my center? Yes. Every WatchMeGrow system is custom designed for an individual customer. If you are interested in internal viewing, we will be happy to design a system for you. Monitors are normally located in your lobby or director's office. The monitor serves two purposes. First, they are a great marketing demonstration tool (from our experience parents love to see their children assimilate to the classroom) and secondly, they allow your staff to keep an eye on the center.
Can you provide digital recording with your viewing system? Yes. We offer digital recording as an optional feature. Digital recording allows you to record and store all camera views for up to thirty days. Images can be copied to a CD for long term storage and future review. Or, if you wish, the DVR will simply record over the oldest images, so you can have the most recent (1 to 30 days) images available.


Security

Is your system secure? WatchMeGrow’s family viewing system was developed specifically to provide secure remote video viewing for childcare centers. While no computer system can guarantee 100% security, procedures can be established to make it extremely difficult to gain unauthorized access. WatchMeGrow has taken the following steps to ensure a safe and secure online environment:
  • Center Approved Account Authorization: Family user names and passwords are only issued after each parent is approved by the childcare center.
  • Restricted Access: Authorized parents are only able to access their children's classrooms and any Center approved common areas (not the entire center).
  • User Access / Camera Controls: Center administrators have system controls that allow them to disable individual cameras and/or accounts at anytime. WatchMeGrow is also available to assist with requests of this nature at anytime toll free at 1 800-483-5597.
  • Unique Login Names and Passwords: User names and passwords are at least eight characters and contain a combination of letters and numbers (only one person can login at a time per username).
  • Automatic Logoff / System "Time-Out": If a user viewing session is inactive for a set period of time our system will automatically log them off (the default logoff is three minutes).
  • SSL Encryption: Information received at www.watchmegrow.com is encrypted with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption (the current web security standard). SSL Viewing System Encryption recently became available and is being offered as an optional feature on as needed basis.
  • Reporting: Approved administrators have access to various reports detailing user information for the last twelve months.
  • Our network and software is regularly reviewed by an accredited IT Security Firm.

Is your system available for a fixed low monthly cost? WatchMeGrow's service is available for a low monthly cost. Our monthly price is fixed at a rate that works for you relative to the size of your center. Your hosting rate does not increase or decrease based on parent usage - any additional revenue you generate is yours to keep.
