"The Elizabeth Perry Rushton Child Development Center began using WatchMeGrow in 1998-99. WatchMeGrow helped to make us one of the best recognized programs in our area with an extensive waiting list for services. The Center has experienced full enrolment for the last six years. I credit a lot of that success to WatchMeGrow.

I first came to the Rushton Center in January 1998. Our small center, associated with First Presbyterian Church in Downtown, Birmingham, Alabama, was just two years old and not very many people knew we even existed. We were located at the back of our church surrounded by big buildings with little street access. The center had just received NAEYC accreditation and was trying to maintain full enrollment, which we all know is the key to a successful center. I was working on ideas of how we could spread the word about our great little program.

I had just returned from a trip to the 1997 NACCP conference where I met the people from WatchMeGrow. I was very interested in the concept of keeping parents more connected to their children and my board of directors was concerned about achieving and maintaining full enrollment.

I then had what turned out to be a great idea. I would see if I could get someone to sponsor the costs of installing the WatchMeGrow system and use that as a way to introduce the Rushton Center to the Birmingham community. I would use watch me grow as a marketing tool. At that time no one in our community was using internet viewing cameras in their programs. I got a commitment from one our of our church members to cover the cost and then I developed press packages for all the TV, radio and print media outlets in Birmingham and sent them out. It worked. Within several weeks I had calls from two TV stations, from the local newspaper and from one area magazine. They all wanted to do a story on childcare security and how parents can choose safe programs for their children. (I remember that some incident that was bad news for childcare had just occurred therefore making the coverage timely.)

After all the media attention we began to get calls for enrollment. People were very interested in being able to connect with their children during their workday. It gave them confidence in our program that we would want our program on camera and were inviting them into our day to day operation. A real added attraction was that grandparents who didn't live in the area could have access to their grandchildren. It was a winning situation all around.

We started out charging just the parents who wanted the service a separate fee. We soon changed to including the fee for all parents in the monthly tuition. That was a good move.

While I soon gave credit to WatchMeGrow for making us more visible in our community, I did not know what kind a company they would be to work with. That is almost the best part. WatchMeGrow was great about helping us get started. They came to Birmingham and helped us install the system. Since the beginning they have been great to work with. They take their company and their service personally. They pay attention to details and are always there to help us solve any problems we may have. They handle access for parents and any concerns that may occur. It's been almost eight years now; I still think that they are a terrific group of people who really care about child care and helping programs as well as helping parents. I recommend them without hesitation. Every center would be doing themselves, their parents and their teachers a service by providing internet viewing. I think the people at WatchMeGrow are the company you would want to provide you this service. I am a happy and satisfied customer and hope to be one for years to come."

It has never been a problem from the watchmegrow side, any problems we have experienced with the system has been internet failures or equipment failures from our internet provider or our equipment. "I first learned about WatchMeGrow at a NAEYC Conference in Toronto in 1998. I decided then that I wanted to offer online viewing for parents when I opened Kids First Childcare Center in Rochester, NY. Our center opened in March 2001 and the team at WatchMeGrow installed our viewing system within the year. At first, our teachers were a little nervous about being on camera all the time, but they forgot about it within the first week. "We contacted WatchMeGrow after the DVR system we initially installed failed to deliver the promised level of service and performance. While the DVR looked great before it was installed, our experience was anything but positive once the parents began using the system. Our DVR system was constantly crashing, delivered a very poor (slow) user experience and we were never able to reach our "contact" when we needed assistance. Another frustrating thing about our DVR was that all the parents had the same login ID and Password so all the parents could see the entire center - this also meant that parents who left the center could still see our center because we weren't able to cancel individual user accounts. With WatchMeGrow parents can only see their children's classroom and we can cancel a user account anytime. Our favorite thing about WatchMeGrow is that they take care of all the administration so we can spend our time more productively - we didn't have this before and now that WatchMeGrow is here my staff and I now have more time to run the center. WatchMeGrow's product and customer service have been outstanding and we wish we had installed them when we first opened our center."

"As the director of a childcare center with close to 200 kids, I appreciate WatchMeGrow because it reinforces the personalized child care we provide and it helps me run the center more efficiently. During marketing tours with prospective customers, parents like knowing that we're able to keep an eye on our children and they love learning that they can watch too.
